When does gold rate change in India?
Gold rates change twice daily on weekdays. IBJA publishes an AM rate around 12:00 PM IST and a PM rate around 6:00 PM IST. On weekends and Indian public holidays, IBJA rates do not update — most jewellers hold the Friday PM rate. International spot gold trades 24/5, so MCX futures and spot reflect movement around the clock.
