What AI does on this site
- First drafts: AI helps us produce initial drafts of city-level gold rate guides and explanatory articles. Every draft is reviewed by a human editor before publication.
- Outlines and structure: AI suggests headings and section structures, which editors then approve, edit, or replace.
- Localisation: AI helps us tailor language for 350+ Indian cities at scale, while preserving accuracy of regional taxes, customs, and retail conventions.
- FAQ and snippet generation: AI proposes questions and answers based on common search queries. Editors verify factual accuracy.
What AI does NOT do
- Set or publish rates: All gold and silver rates come directly from verified sources (IBJA, MCX, GoodReturns, XAU). AI never invents or estimates rates.
- Publish without review: No AI-generated article goes live without a named human editor signing off.
- Replace expertise: Financial guidance, tax interpretation, and market commentary are written or reviewed by editors with finance backgrounds.
How to identify AI-assisted articles
Articles where AI was used in drafting carry a footer note: "Drafted with AI assistance. Fact-checked and approved by [Editor Name] on [Date]." If you don't see this note, the article was written entirely by a human.
Tools we use
We use a fallback chain of Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), and Gemini (Google), depending on the task. We don't use any single model for everything, so our content style varies modestly across the site.
